  • This study aims to find out and analyze applying the Make A Macth model to student learning outcomes in social studies subjects. The type of research used is quasiexperimental form of nonequivalent control group design. Sampling was done using purposive sampling technique. The selected sample is class IV A as the experimental class and class IV B as the control class that is treated using a direct learning model. Based on the processing of pretest data obtained the average value of students' social studies learning outcomes of experimental class is 61.07 while the control class is 52.19. After learning, both classes are given posttest. Based on the processing of posttest data obtained the average social studies learning outcomes of experimental class students was 78.83 while the control class was 76.65. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the results of social studies students who use the Make A Macth model are better than students who use direct learning models.
