- This research was aimed to know the response of Plant Growth and Yield of Celery (Apium graveolens L.) to this type of growing media and fertilizer shell egg shell waste. The research was conducted in Screen House BPTP Banten from October 2016 until Februari 2017. The research used Randomized Completely Design (RCD) which was arranged as factorial with two factors. The first factor was the type of media with three levels : charcoal husk (M1), Malang`s sand (M2) and Charcoal husk+ Malang`s sand (M3). The second factor was the waste egg shell with four levels : 5% (P1), 7.5% (P2), 10% (P3) and 12.5% (P4). The results showed that Eggshell waste fertilizer (P4) gave the best results on plant height parameter the fourth week (3.91 cm) and the fifth week (5.05 cm), number of leaves (16.89 strands), the number of tillers (1.78) and plant fresh weight per plant (12.20 g). Malang`s sand (M1) showed the best results on plant height parameter the first week (1.58 cm), the eighth week (12.95 cm), and the ten week (18.83 cm), number of leaves (17,41 strands), the number of tillers (92.08 shoots) and plant fresh weight per plant (15.60 g). ). The result showed that there was no interaction between media kind and dosage level of eggshell to all parameters observed.
