- Soursop (Annona muricata L.) is a tropical fruit plant and annual plant that can grow and bear fruit throughout the year. However, the seed of soursop has a testa or a hard seed coat, that can inhibit the process of imbibition. This study aimed to determine the viability soursop seed (Annona muricata L.) with techniques of wounding seeds and soaking time with cow urine. This research was conducted in Laboratory of Agroecotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture from February to March 2017. The study used a randomized block design (RBD) arranged as factorial and consists of two factors. The first factor was the technique of wounding seed (without wounding, cut out and slashed). The second factor was soaking time with cow urine (30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, 120 minutes). There were 12 combinations with 3 repeations so that there ware 36 experimental units. The variables measured were germination age (days), maximum potential growth (%), germination (%), growth rate (% / day), the percentage of normal seedlings (%,) and the percentage of abnormal seedlings (%). Result showed that cutted wounding seed techniques gave significant effect on viability of soursop seed (Annona muricata L.).
