- The research was aimed to know the effect of solid waste paper mill and cow manure fertilizer doses on aglaonema’s growth. The research was implemented in Taman Pipitan Indah shade house, Walantaka district, Serang City from October 2016 may until March 2017. The research used Randomized Completely Block Design which was arranged as factorial with two factors. The first factor was the type of solid waste paper mill with three levels : consisting of a mixture of solid waste paper mill manifold sludge fiber and sawdust with a ratio of 30%: 70%, a mixture of solid waste paper mill manifold sludge cake and sawdust with 30 %: 70% and mixture of solid waste fiber paper mill sludge: sludge cake (1: 1) and sawdust with a ratio of 30%: 70%. The second factor was the dose of cow manure consisting of 0 ton/ ha, 15 ton/ha, 30 ton/ha, and 45 ton /ha. Thus, there were 12 combinations treatment and replicated 3 times. Observed variable were plant height, percentage of live cuttings, leaf midrib number, Percentage of sprouted cuttings, number of roots, plant fresh weight and dry weight of plants. The result showed that the type of solid waste paper mill and cow manure fertilizer doses did not give significant effect to all parameters observed.There was no interaction in this research, too.
