- The research was motivated by the low motor skills of children of B1 group in Permata Hati Pandeglang-Banten kindergarten with the result of pre-action observation showed the percentage of 28%. Therefore, This research aims to: (1) know the process of applying traditional Indonesian games in improving motor skills of children of B1 group in Permata Hati Pandeglang-Banten kindergarten, and (2) to know the improvement of motor skills of children of B1 group in Permata Hati Pandeglang-Banten kindergarten amounted to 9 children. The method used in this research is the method of action research. designed in two cycles. In the first cycle of 8 actions and cycle II as much as 2 actions, with the criteria of success of the action of 60%. Data obtained from the observation, field notes, documentation and interviews are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed that: (1) the average motor skills of 9 children of B1 group in pre-action was 28%, then cycle I increased to 47% and at the end of cycle II increased to 67%; and (2) the Indonesian traditional games applied successfully improves rough motor skills. This indicates that the rough motor skills of the B1 group children in Permata Hati Pandeglang-Banten kindergarten have improved according to the criteria of the success of the action which has been determined after being given the action in the form of traditional Indonesian games. With this research that Indonesian traditional games can be liked chidren, in addition to staying alive in every region an can be passed down to the next generation.
