- The fulfillment of children rights should be taken by the government for the continuity development in the future. There are still many children who doesn’t have their civil rights, the lack of facilities and infrastructure toward a Child Friendly City, and also the lack of implementor’s active role. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of Child Friendly Cities Development Policy in South Tangerang. This research used policy implementation theory by Van Metter and Van Horn in Agustino (2008). The method used is a descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques which used are interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis which used is an interactive model of Prasetya Irawan. The result shows that the implementation of Child Friendly Cities Development Policy in South Tangerang is generally good, because there is initiative of local government that lead to transformation effort of the Convention of Children Rights in the form of policies, programs, and development activities that devoted to the fulfill the children rights. Although, the fulfillment of the children rights is not yet fully optimal because lack of coordination and public awareness and also lack of socialization. The recommendations that could be given are doing more intensive communication among implementor and monitoring periodically, improve synchronization by equalize views about urgencies of the fulfillment of children rights for every implementor and follow up on any result of coordination meeting, and socialization that more evenly so that public careness and active role of society could be improved.
