  • The main purpose of this research is to investigate there are differences in enhancement of students’ mathematical representation ability and enhancement of mathematical representation ability (high, medium, and low) between studens who used the cooperative learning tipe Think Pair Share and students who used the Think Talk Write, This research is used quasi-experimental method. The research design used is randomized pretest-postest comparison group design. The populations in this study were students of class VII SMP Negeri 9 Serang. Take a sample was done by cluster random sampling by taking two classes at random from an existing class. One class as an experimental class I which uses a Cooperative Learning Tipe Think Pair Share and one class as a experimental class II which use a Think Talk Write. The instrument used is a test of mathematical representation ability. It is concluded that: (1) there is the achievement difference in mathematical representation ability between students who used the cooperative learning tipe Think Pair Share and students who used the Think Talk Write, (2) there is the enhancement difference in mathematical representation ability between students who used the cooperative learning tipe Think Pair Share and students who used the Think Talk Write, (3) there’s no the enhancement difference in mathematical representation ability (high, medium) between students who used the cooperative learning tipe Think Pair Share and students who used the Think Talk Write, (5) there is the enhancement difference in mathematical representation ability category low between students who used the cooperative learning tipe Think Pair Share and students who used the Think Talk Write.
