- The purpose of this research is to know the comparison of science process skills of the students at the eleventh grade of SMAN 5 Serang through a practical work of guided inquiry and structured inquiry based on the sub-concept of urinary. The research method used weak experimental method with randomized control group posttest only design. Population that used are all of the students from eleventh grade as the sample of the research with class XI IPA 1 as guided inquiry class and class XI IPA 3 as structured inquiry. The sampling technique used in this research was simple random sampling. The data were collected by using a test in essay and observation sheet. Data analysis technique used t test to test the hypothesis and One Way Anova test to test the comparison. From the hypothesis test results in this research is 0,000 < 0,05, it means there are differences in students science process skills between the use practical work of guided inquiry and structured inquiry. On the test in essay, the average score in the guided inquiry class was 91.07 which mean in very good category and the average score in the structured inquiry class was 81.38 which mean in good category. On the observation sheet, the average score in the guided inquiry class was 82.70 which mean in good category and the score in the structured inquiry class was 82.17 which mean in good category. The skill of the science process for test comparison on the essay test was higher than the guided inquiry class and on the observation sheet, the guided inquiry class was higher. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that students science process skills are higher in the guided inquiry class on learning practical work on the sub-concept of urinary.
