- This research aims to determine the comparison of cognitive learning outcomes of students using PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model and TTW learning model (Think, Talk, Write) on the sub concept of human digestive system disorders. The method used in this research is quasi experiment using randomized control group only design. The research population is all students of grade VIII SMP IT Al-Gina academic year 2015/2016. By research sample of student of class VIII B as class of PBL and VIII D as TTW class taken by purposive sampling. Cognitive Ability of students measured using multiple choice tests, the average value of students’ cognitive abilities on the PBL class is equal to 84.58 and in the TTW class are 76.25. The conclusion is that there are differences in cognitive learning outcomes among students using PBL learning model and students using TTW learning model on the sub concept of human digestive system disorder in SMP IT Al-Gina.
