- The research aimed to identify influence guided inquiry learning model to student’s cognitive ability and psychomotor skill in respiratory human system subconcept. This research was quasi experiment with randomized control group design only. The population of the research was all students’ characteristic cognitive ability and psychomotor skill of grade XI SMAN 5 Kota Serang on period 2016-2017. The research sample consisted of two clasess, class XI IPA 1 as control class and XI IPA 2 as an axperimental class with simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique was test, observation and documentation. Data analysis technique used is independent sample t-test assistance with SPSS 16. The result showed average score of cognitive ability is 71 and psychomotor skill is 91. According to t-test result with a significansi level of 0.05, can be concluded that the implementation of guided inquiry learning model affected to student’s cognitive ability and psychomotor skill at SMAN 5 Kota Serang in respiratory human system sub-concept.
