- ABSTRACT SELLY FITRIA PUSPITA, Improving Social Skills Children Aged 5-6 Years Through Cooperative Learning Model in kindergarten Aisyiyah Labuan . Thesis : Studies of Early Childhood Education , Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa , 2014. Social skills in children aged 5-6 years is the achievement of maturity in social relationships , where children perform social activities with teachers and friends in the class, and the environment in the family. Social skills are very important skills possessed by children to interact with others in a social context that is closely related to the people who will be a provision in the future , social skills need to be developed to train the skills of the child . From an early age children need to familiarize and train yourself to get used to the social environment or a new environment than parents . Cooperative learning ( cooperative learning ) is a learning approach that focuses on the use of small groups of students to work together to maximize the learning conditions to achieve the learning objectives . Social skills children need media interest, one of which is a model of cooperative learning . Based on the results of research in pre- kindergarten Aisyiyah Labuan , the child's social skills are very low with a value of 37 % . This study used methods Classroom Action Research ( CAR ) with 2 cycles , each cycle consisting of 5 times the action and the action success criteria 75 % . Penelian Subjects were 10 children . The technique of collecting data through observation , field notes , interview and documentation . Data analysis using data reduction , data display and conclusion . Data validation is done by way of extension of observation , perseverance meneingkatkan research , triangulation , peer checking , member checking , negative case analysis , and referential adequacy . The results of this research note that 1 ) . At the initial assessment of the child's social skills 37 % , 2 ) . Once the child is given the action on the first cycle , meeting to meeting to 1 to 5 , the social skills of children has increased to 56 % , 3 ) . Cycle to 2 Session 1 through 5 meeting to increase to 77 % , 4 ) . It can be concluded that the model of cooperative learning can improve social skills of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Aisyiyah Labuan. .
