- This study aimed to analyze the influence of TANDUR using Mind Map on students' cognitive abilities on the concept of ecosystem. This research used quasi experiment method by design randomized control posttest group only. The population in this research was all students of class X senior high school of 1 Pontang semester II of academic year 2016/2017. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class X MIA 4 with 30 students as experiment class, and X MIA 3 with 30 students as control class. The sampling technique was conducted by simple random sampling. The data were collected used both of multiple choice objective test and Mind Map assessment sheet. The result of hypothesis test of influence TANDUR method using Mind Map to student cognitive ability. This shows that there is influence of using TANDUR method using Mind Map to student's cognitive ability.
