  • ABSTRACT IMPROVING LEARNING OUTCOMES OF STUDENTS ON SOCIAL SUBJECT BY IMPLEMENTING INTERACTIVE LEARNING STRATEGIES AT FOURTH GRADE OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CIWEDUS II CILEGON Uswatun Hasanah NIM . 2227100817 This research aims is to improving the activity learn student and the result of social subject about technological growth produce, communication, and transportation in class four (IV) of elementary school through interactive learning strategies. The experiment was conducted in an elementary school Ciwedus II Cilegon . The research subject is the students in class the fourth grade students totaling 19 people, in social subject about the tecnological growth produce, communication, and transportation in the second semester of academic year 2013/2014. This study was conducted in March until April 2014. It is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which depends on two cycles . The Classroom Action Research type is used from Kemmis and Mc Taggart . Each cycles consists of four stages, they are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection as a basis of replanning to the next cycles. The results obtained from the observations made by researcher in the first cycle with a percentage based student learning activities and student learning outcomes. The activity percentage student learning in the first cycle is the average value 72 %, but on the second cycle increased by 16 % to become 88 %. While the percentage of student learning outcomes in the first cycle 53 % obtained results and the students who completed the second cycle increased by 47 % to become 100 % of students who passed. From the results of this study, it could be concluded that the use of interactive learning strategies could to improve the learning outcomes of students in the fourth grade of SDN Ciwedus II Cilegon with the material about tecnological growth production, communications, and transportation.
