  • The relationship between science process skills and student’s scientific attitude through practice-based learning need to studied by discovery learning model on nutrition sub concept of VIII grade in SMPN 9 Kota Serang. The population used in this study was all of VIII grade students in SMPN 9 Kota Serang, while the sample was Class B VIII grade students with the number of students as much as 43 students, taken by simple random sampling technique. The data collected by using observation sheet that was analyzed by correlation test and regression test. Based on the results of research concluded that the value of science process skill students obtained an average of 85.0 with very good category while the student’s scientific attitude obtained an average of 83.8 with very good category. The correlation between science process skills and scientific attitude has correlation coefficient value of 0.435 with significance value 0.004 indicates that science process skill and scientific attitude has significant and medium correlation.
