- This research was conducted to find out (1) How is the implementation of catering training program in PKBM Satu Bangsa (2) How effectiveness of catering training training program at PKBM Satu Bangsa (3) What are the inhibiting and supporting factors in PKBM Satu Bangsa Pontang Sub-district of Serang Regency. Research method used by writer in this research is descriptive with qualitative approach.In this research with qualitative approach should be based on data or information obtained through research as follows: (1) Interview, (2) Observation, (3) Documentation.The stage of data collection in this research is the orientation stage, exploration stage and member check stage.Processing techniques and data analysis include the reduction phase, data presentation and verification phase.The data sources of this research are the managers, tutors and residents studying at PKBM Satu Bangsa Pontang Sub-district, Serang District.As the end of this discussion, the author conveys the following conclusions: 1. Implementation of the training in PKBM Satu Bangsa includes planning, Planning, Actuating, Controlling, 2. The effectiveness of culinary training in PKBM Satu Bangsa Pontang Subdistrict, Serang District showsthe process that has been very good, seen from the stages: the first stage yitu planning stages include the formation of committees, identifying existing problems, needs analysis, the formulation of training objectives, determine the criteria of instructors, and determine the learners training.The organizing phase, which sets out the organizational structure in this culinary training program is the active management of PKBM Satu Bangsa.Related to the timing of the implementation of the training program is the result of coordination with the training providers and the PKBM Satu Bangsa foundation.Implementation phase of the learning to receive materials from the training tutor given the theory of culinary to cooking practices and the implementation process is running well because it is supported by facilities and infrastructure is quite complete.Stage of control in catering training at PKBM Satu Bangsa is the organizer conducting direct monitoring during the catering training takes place.3. Supporting factors and inhibiting factors experienced by the instructor in empowering the learning community through this catering training are skilled tutors, the high spirit of the learning community, and the strategic location While the inhibiting factors are the lack of tutors, where the training is less extensive and the expectations of the residents learn after the training implementation wants to get rewarded
