Keyword : Effectiveness, Development Planning Meeting (MUSRENBANG) Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang) is very important to find out community needs that has to be planned. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of impelementing Musrenbang in the year 2012 on Citangkil District,Cilegon City. This research used quantitative descriptive method based on the theory of effectiveness organization byRobbin in Syarif Makmurthat are Explicit purpose, Human Resources, Organizational Structure, Support of Participation of the Community and the System’s Values. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistic by testing of one sample t-test. Instrument used in this research was in form of a questionnaire which are taken from 95 Participants of Musrenbang diffuse in seven different villages in Citangkil consisting of civil servants, facilitator, religious leaders, traditional leaders, youth leaders and representatives from the private sector. The sampling technique used in this research is saturated sampling where all populationsused as research samples. The result showed that the effectiveness of implementingMusrenbangin the year 2012 in the Citangkil district, Cilegon city has reached 78,47% therefore it can be said good, although it is not maximized. The suggestionis it needs to increase society awareness by introducing the implementation of Musrenbang itself, giving training and knowledge about it so they know their own obligation, and giving punishment to the participants of Musrenbang and its facilitator whose are still not attended the meeting.
