  • ABSTRACT Several technologies have been developed in power plant with electric energy sources accounting for non-conventional, is Distributed Generation (DG). Distributed generation (DG) is a system for generating electric energy on a small scale. Energy sources in the energy obtained from DG non conventional solar cells, wind turbines, biomass, fuel cell. In this study, DG used a solar power plant (SPP). Purpose of use DG to reduce loss-power loss and voltage drop that occurs in the distribution network 20kV. Simulations are used to get the value of loss-power loss and voltage drop distribution network 20kV is load flow analysis using software ETAP 7.0. The simulation was carried out on 2 different conditions are simulated in normal circumstances and in the event of distribution network 20kV connected DG (SPP).Results of the simulation showed the influence of decreasing power loss and loss-teggan large enough to fall on the distribution network 20kV. On penyulang Cimarga before using DG rurgi-loss recorded by 358kW, 299,3kW loss-loss in channels and 75,7kW losses in distribution transformers and fell tegangn to mecapai 15.29%. Once connected with losses in the network be 149, 1kW, 95, 6kW loss-loss in channels and 5kW 53 loss-loss in distribution transformers and voltage falls to 4.28%.
