  • ABSTRACT Combustion is one of the most important parts in our daily lives . Combustion is the rapid oxidation of fuel accompanied by the production of heat , or heat and light . Complete combustion of fuel occurs only when there is sufficient oxygen supply . In this case using the Burner burning as a tool to burn the fuel as well as to determine the temperature Thermocouple api.After stable flame on the burner for about 5 minutes until the fire can actually be observed , then in columns provide observed in the first minute grab record the initial temperature in minutes and then 2,4,6,8 and 10th minute . The resulting temperature of T1 , T2 , T3 termocouple in more solar heat than pure coconut oil . The resulting flame length is the length of the fire on coconut oil which has a maximum flame length is 67 cm , while the diesel is only 60 cm.Warna fuel the fire of both visual terms of a yellowish red color indicates the temperature below 1000 0 C.
