  • he purpose of this research is to know the effect of money supply (M2), government expenditure and exchange rate on inflation in Indonesia 2010:Q1- 2017:Q4 in the long term and short term. The data used are time series data for 2010:Q1-2017:Q4. This research uses quantitative methods and analyzed using Eviews 8, using the Error Correction Model (ECM) method, the dependent variable used in the research is inflation, while the independent variable consists of money supply (M2), government expenditure and exchange rate. The results of this research indicate that partially in the long run money supply (M2) has a significant effect on inflation in Indonesia, government expenditure has a significant effect on inflation and exchange rate does not significant effect on inflation. In Indonesia Whereas in the short term the money supply (M2) and government expenditure do not significant effect inflation in Indonesia, but exchange rate has a significant effect on inflation in Indonesia. Simultaneously in the long term and short term amount of money supply (M2), government expenditure and exchange rate have a significant effect on inflation in Indonesia.
