- Desa Mangkualam road is the acces to transporting gold mining materials in Kec. Ciamnggu Kab. Pandeglang. The road is on damage condition caused by truck load. This study aim to stabilize soil using sea sand and to finding the influence to value of CBR and physical characteristics.Improvements using stabilization method by mixing soil with 10 %, 20 % and 30 % sea sand, then testing soil properties and laboratory CBR before and after using sea sand. From the test results showed that the addition sea sand up to 30 % decrease of the plasticity index value from 20,44 % to 11.08% . The more the mixture of sea sand the higher the density. With mixture 30% sea sand to increase the value of CBR from 10,844 % to 49,462 % . The results of this study concluded that sea sand percentage of 30% is good enough to reduce the value of plasticity, in addition to increasing the bearing capacity of the soil on the value of CBR with a category good as subgrade.
