- This study aims to examine the effect of firm size on stock prices with profitability as intervening variable. The population in this research is mining company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2007 - 2016 with 43 companies. The method used in this research is purposive sampling and selected 10 companies. With a total sample of 100 data and 27 data exposed outlier. Thus the amount of data that is worth using 73 company data. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results showed that firm size has a positive and significant effect on stock prices. The results also suggest that firm size has no effect on proftability. While profitability have positive and significant effect to stock price. And profitability can not mediate the relationship between firm size against stock prices.
