- The use of laminated bamboo beams to be an alternative as one of the elements of building materials. Techniques such laminates can be used to form the building materials used as construction materials in large sizes. Previous studies have extensively covered the beam strength of laminated bamboo, type and pattern collapse crack. Some testing of the shear strength with the use of adhesive labur 60 # MDGL, resulting in partial fracture or shear fracture between bamboo material and not occur in the adhesive. This research was directed to make laminated bamboo blocks without using bamboo outer shell by using variations of three types of labur adhesive and vertical peg use with an optimum distance of 15 cm, so it can be determunated the type of labur adhesive that has the optimum and peg of strength in its manufacture. Comparison of the size or dimensions of the beam between the height of the beam and its width is 2:1 sized (12 cm x 6 cm). Further tested the strength of the beam on its shear strength and fiexure. The results showed that there was no significant difference in shear strengths between the three variations of glue. Beam strength is highest test object 50 # MDGL Ligno with a value of 20,6 KN load with a deflection of 22,5 mm. The average shear stress laminated beams obtained is 4,43 MPa. This strength is still greater than the strength of the wood beams in general where strong wood shear stress of amount 1.25 MPa class II.
