- The Influence of Referents, Financial Awards, Labor Market Considerations and Job Expectation on the Selection of Accounting Student Careers (Empirical Study at PTN and PTS in Serang City) is the thesis title of Elli Trisnawati (5552140794), student of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University Faculty of Economics and Business Accounting Department ( Management Accounting) under guidance Dr. Elvin Bastian, SE., M.Si as mentor I and Mulyanah, SE., M.Si.. as mentor II. The purpose of this study is to find the influence of referents factors, financial rewards, market considerations and job expectation on career selection of accounting students at PTN and PTS in the City of Serang. In this study using a survey method because it collects information from respondents using a questionnaire / questionnaire. While the research design used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The sample used was 272 respondents which were calculated using the Slovin formula and the method of data analysis using regression analysis conducted using the help of IBM SPSS 21.0 software. Based on the results of the analysis using the help of IBM SPSS 21.0 software, it is known that the influence of referents, financial awards, market considerations and job expectation on career selection uses multiple regression equations Ý = 4.918 + 0,191X1 + 0,255X2 + 0,149X3 + 0,156X4, while the coefficient of determination (Kd) = 35.2% means that the influence of referents, financial rewards, considerations shows market and job expectation towards career selection, while the remaining 64.8% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. And from the results of the t test (Partial) it is known that tcount> t table, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, this means that the variable referents, financial awards, market considerations and job expectation have a significant influence on career choice in PTN and PTS in the City of Serang.
