- This study aims to analyze the effect of corporate governance on firm value. Corporate governance is divided into institutional ownership, independent commissioners, audit committees, and board of commissioners. while company value is measured using Price book Value (PBV). the sample in this study were 27 banking companies. and the sample used in this study is a banking company registered on the Indonesia stock exchange during 2015-2017. The results of the study prove that institutional ownership has a negative effect on firm value, independent commissioners have a positive effect on firm value, commita audit has a negative effect on firm value, while the board of commissioners has no effect on firm value.
