- Analysis on Time Standard in Harbour Ferry Merak(CaseStudy Pier 4 and 5) Dewi Suharyanti ABSTRACT Merak Port is a gateway traffic Java-Sumatera located in Cilegon City .Merak currently has 5 operating pier . Merak less to optimize the use of the pier 4and 5 , because the pier 4 and 5 do not have a fixed schedule for lean shipschedule. Merak port management is not effective is one of the causes of lowservice . One of the parameters that need to be considered in an effort to increasethe length of time the service is operational need ships in the harbor . The data used is primary data that is the result of interviews a variety ofsources and survey data when loading and unloading and maneuvering the ship .Secondary data is scheduled departure of the ship, the number and capacity of theship. Operational standard time is the amount of time loading and unloading andmaneuvering multiplied by the capacity of the ship.The results showed that: 1 )The value of the standard timeship operatingin Merak port on average of 62.124min / ship . Where the standard time of each shipin according with theircapacities are: the ship with a loading capacity of 20 ships with a capacity of54,273 four-wheeler minutes , capacity 26 car for 58,555 minutes , capacity 30carfor 61,410 minutes , capacity 32carfor 62.837menit , capacity 34car for 64,265minutes , capacity 35carfor 64,978 minutes , capacity 38car for 67,119 minutes, capacity 40car for 68,547 minutes . 2 ) The averageservice of port with 62.124min /shipshows the operating in Merakport hasnot optimal because it ismorethan the specified time interval departure at the port that is equal to 60 minutes .
