- ABSTRACT DILA AYU MAHARDINI. 2014. ANALYSIS OF FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN IN SERANG CITY. Guided By ALIUDIN and ARIS SUPRIYO W. Food is one material a meal eaten in regular by the public. Food such as rice, soybeans, eggs and broiler is the main menu that satisfies the needs society. This research the distribution of food ( rice, soybeans, eggs and broiler chickens) will produce a pattern of supply chain and value efficiency distribution. This research using the nethod of quantitative and the determination of the set down in deliberately (purposive). Data and information in this research are collected through interviews and charging kuisioner. Retrieval responden in research using to namely : judgement of sampling techniques and snowball of sampling so the number of respondents as many as 73 people. The Lindo analysis shows there are 11 on rice supply channels, 8 channels of supply for soybeans, 10 channels for the supply of chicken eggs and 8 channels of supply for broilers in Serang. Supply of staple foods with LINDO more efficient allocation because it reduces the cost of supply of Rp. 68,410,775, - for rice, Rs. 9.972.00, - for soybeans, Rp. 116.617.750, - for broilers and eggs to the cost analysis results do not indicate the efficiency of cost.
