- PT Multi Fabrindo Gemilang is a manufacturing company engaged in manufacturing of steel, one of the product manufacturing production of PT Multi Fabrindo Gemilang is Gas Coalescer Filter. In the process of making Gas Coalescer Filter is still a lot of waste or activities which not provide value added, therefore in the production process needs to reduce the activities which include waste. This research was to reduce and eliminate activities including waste to improve Process Cycle Efficiency (PCE). Lean Manufacturing approach is used to reduce or eliminate waste. The first step is to determining the score of waste occurring in the production process of Gas Coalescer Filter which is used to calculate the matrix in Value Stream Analysis Tools (VALSAT), then Process Process Mapping (PAM) is created to categorizing each activity into value added activities, necessasry non value added activities and non value added activities. PCE improvement is processed by eliminating non-value-added activities based on brainstorming with the employee of the company which the results will be simulated by using ProModel 2001 software. Based on the improvement, PCE increased 6,553% from 74,695% to 81,228% and Manufacturing Lead Time decreased from 328, 67 hours to 271,253 hours.
