- ndonesia needs a national development fund and one of the main sources of funds are from savings. The banking industry is one very important component in the national economy in order to maintain a balance of progress and national unity economy. The research is aimed to find out the influencing of interest rates, gross domestic product (GDP), and inflation on savings in Indonesia period 2008:I – 2015:IV. The analysis method of the data that was used is the model Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Calculation method weared is method Eviews 8. The data that was used in this research was the data time series from 2008:I2015:IV. The results of this study show that the interest rate variable have negatively significant influence to savings, gross domestic product (GDP) variable have positively significant influence to savings, and inflation have positively but not significant influence to savings in Indonesia period 2008:I –
