- The general purpose of this study is to find out how far the effect on the exchange rate of Rupiah to US Dollar by three economic factors: interest rate, export and foreign exchange reserve. Sample determination based on monthly time series data from 2010 to 2014. The data in this study comes from the Financial Statistics of Bank Indonesia. This research uses Ordinary Least Square (OLS) analysis method. Based on the partial OLS estimation results, the interest rate variable has a positive and significant effect on the exchange rate. Export variables have a positive and insignificant effect. While foreign exchange reserve variable have negative and not significant effect to exchange rate. However the results simultaneously, interest rate variables, exports and foreign exchange reserves significantly influence the exchange rate.
