  • BC3F5 generation rice strains is the result of a cross Situ Patenggang with IRBL. The strain planted is bulk. The objective of this study was to obtain information regarding the level of segregation BC3F5 bulk strains are selected in order to obtain selected individuals who are homozygous based on molecular markers and agronomic characters. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Green House of BB-Biogen and Sukamandi Experiment Field of BB-Padi in September 2016 to December 2016. The molecular markers used were STS and SNAP. In this experiment we were using 8 strains produces that based of the test had traits of agronomic same even better when compared with the elders Situ based on the characteristics of agronomic height, number of tillers, harvesting and days to flowering, while in component parameters result strain SK-62-S15-TB16 is a superior strain which has a panicle length, number of grain and weight better than Situ Patenggang. Based on testing with molecular markers almost all individuals have a percentage of 100% identical to the elders Situ and had conceived the blast resistance gene derived from the donor parent IRBL. From the results of phenotype and genotype, it can be obtained 10 individuals in SA-94-S15-TB16, 4 individuals in SK-59-S15-TB16, 5 individuals in SK-61-S15-TB16, 16 individuals in SK-62-S15-TB16, 22 individuals in SI-39- S15-TB16, 11 individuals in SI-41-S15-TB16, and each 6 individuals in SI-43- S15-TB16 and SI-44-S15-TB16 has homozygous with Situ Patenggang and had a blast resistance genes from IRBL.
