- Karangantu Archipelagic Fishing Port (AFP) is the biggest fishing port at Banten Province which plays an important role as a center of fishery activity. Boat lift net is one of the most productive fishing gear at Karangantu AFP. Hauling time closely related with productivity of boat lift net, the much longer time taken for hauling the higher chance for fish to escaped, because the fish getting bored by the light. The main purpose of this research is to determine the range of the length and weight of the dominant and analyze the relation between the catch and hauling time. The research method used is a survey conducted 20 times trip with the division of time 10 days before full moon and 10 days after full moon on January 21 to April 13, 2015. The time division here to determine the best of hauling time during a month of catching time. The catch before full moon showed the highest catch at 177 kg and the lowest catch at 4.7 kg, meanwhile after the full moon the highest catch at 292 kg and the lowest at 26.5 kg. Based on Chi-Square test the catch before full moon and after full moon is not significant different with the best result at HT2 (22.00-01.00 WIB). The dominant catch of boat lift net during this research is Euthynnus affinis, Selaroides leptolepis, Stolephorus spp., and Loligo sp.
