  • Comparative Analysis of Financial Performance of Sharia Commercial Banks with Conventional Commercial Banks (Case Study of Companies Registered and Supervised by Financial Services Authority for the Period of 2012-2018) is the title of a thesis from Shinta Zahra Chaerunisa (5551150041), student of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University Faculty of Economics and Business Department of Management (Financial Management) with Dr. Akhmadi, SE., M.M. as Supervisor I and Enis Khaerunnisa, SE., M.M as Supervisor II. The purpose of this study is to know differences in financial performance in Conventional Commercial Banks and Islamic Commercial Banks through banking financial ratios, among others: CAR (Capital Adequecy Ratio), NPL / NPF (Non Performing Loan / Financing), ROA (Return On Asset ), Operating Expenses To Operating Avanue, and LDR / FDR (Loan / Financing Deposit Ratio) to Commercial Banks that are registered and supervised by the Financial Services Authority for the 2012-2018 Period. The population is Conventional Commercial Bank and Sharia Commercial Bank companies registered and monitored by the 2012-2018 Financial Services Authority. The research sample is 7 conventional commercial banks and 7 Islamic commercial banks using the purposive sampling method. The research method used is descriptive and comparative. The data analysis technique used is Mann-Whitney The results showed that: 1) There was no Significant Difference in CAR (Capital Adequecy Ratio) of Conventional Banks and Sharia Banks. 2) There is a Significant Difference in NPL / NPF (Non Performing Loans / Financing) of Conventional Banks and Sharia Banks. 3) There is a Significant Difference in ROA (Return On Assets) of Conventional Banks and Sharia Banks. 4) There is a Significant Difference in Conventional Bank BOPO (Operating Expenses to Operating Avanue) with Sharia Banks. 5) There is a Significant Difference in LDR / FDR (Loan / Financing Deposit Ratio) of Conventional Banks and Sharia Banks.
