- The existence of free trade cooperation within the ACFTA framework that mutually gives preferential treatment in three sectors: the goods, services and investment sector shouldhave a positive impact on economic growth in ASEAN countries, especially ASEAN-5 countries that impelemented it for the first time. But it turns out, trade performance shows that trade openness and investment with Tiongkok contributed low to the economy during the period 2010 to 2017, and Yuan’s devaluation policy by the Tiongkok’s government was quite influential through trade and investment. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of trade openness, foreign direct investment, and the exchange rate on economic growth after the implementation of ACFTA in five ASEAN countries. The methods used are FEM panel model. The partially result indicates that the variable trade openness has no effect but not significant, foreign direct investment and echange rates has effect and significant on economic growth in the five ASEAN countries after the implementation of ACFTA.
