- This study examined the problem of choice of language in buying and selling situation in Kalianda Inpres market. Sellers are migrants from Java who live in Kalianda and sell in the Inpres market. The objectives of this research were as follows: (1) choice of migrant community language in buying and selling situation in Kalianda Inpres market; (2) Factors influencing the choice of the language of the community in the buying and selling situation in Kalianda Inpres market; and (3) Proposed RPP (Learning Implementation Plan) speaks in class VII of SMP which can be prepared by utilizing the results of the analysis and research findings. The research method used, that was qualitative descriptive method. Data collection in this research was done by tapping technique, SBLC, record, and record. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by the method of padan. Meanwhile, the data in this study was a type of speech buying and selling by the community of immigrants who sell in Kalianda Inpres market. This research yielded the following findings: (1) choice of 15 codes of coded language; (2) choice of mixed code type 16 data languages; and (3) the choice of languages of the same variation of language as much as 44 data. The factors underlay the occurrence of choice of language in buying and selling situation in market Kalianda Inpres, they were factor of participant and situation. Participant factors consisted of 3 aspects in the buying and selling situation in Kalianda Inpres market, such as (1) better language choice, (2) based on buyer's age, and (3) ethnic background of buyer. While the situation only consists of one aspect in the situation of buying and selling in Kalianda Inpres market, namely the level of intimacy. Thus, the choice of the language of migrant community in the buying and selling situation in Kalianda Inpres market can be utilized to prepare the lesson planning in class VII of SMP with Competency Standards (SK): "To express experience and information through storytelling activities and deliver announcement" and Basic Competence (KD) : "Telling the most memorable experience by using effective word choices and sentences".
