- The aim of this research is to find out the influence of the use of production factors toward rice production and the level of efficiency of rice production factor. This research was conducted with 87 samples of farmers in the Desa Linduk Kecamatan Pontang Kabupaten Serang, Banten. The sample of this research was taken by random sampling. The analysis tool used was Cobb- Douglas analysis model, to know the efficiency of rice farming enterprise. The result of this research showed that: the model simultaneous factors of land area, total of employments, total of seeds, total of urea, total of SP-36, experience of farmers in farming and irrigation system highly significant influence toward the increase of rice production. The model used showed that: partially acreage, employments, seeds, urea, SP-36 and irrigation systems influence toward the increase of rice production. However, there was no significant influence experience of farmers toward the increase of rice production. The result of the optimization analysis (economic efficiency) the use of production factors showed that: acreage, total employment, total effective of seeds was not optimum so its use should be reduced, SP-36 and urea was not yet optimum (no efficient), so that its use should be increased.
