- The method of this research is carried out by taking a survey done on purpose. Sampling method by means of the census, the number of samples as many as 16 people rice farmers. The analysis used a descriptive analysis i.e. by way of tabulating results of the questionnaire to find out the internal factors and external factors. Then tabulate the results analyzed with statistical tests nonparametrik spearman rank correlation to find out the relationship between the motivation of farmers with the internal and external factors. Results of the research are: the motivation of farmers in return for capital assistance from PT. Sang Hyang Series belong to the category of moderate 68,75%. While others belong to the category of 31,25% high. And internal factors that relate to the motivation of farmers in return for capital assistance is mastery of the land area and the experience of farming. External factors related to the motivation of farmers in return for capital assistance are income. Keyword: factors affecting motivation and the motivation of farmers in the credit refund.
