Jendral Sudirman km. 03 Cilegon, Banten titoekipermana@gmail.com ABSTRACT Cilegon is a town in banten , indonesia .Cilegon re at the edge of northwestern java , on the edge of the sunda strait. Cilegon city known as the city of steel remember this city make six million tonnes of steel every year in the industrial park krakatau steel. The purpose of this research to analyze performance stretches of road cilegon main city , especially on roads sudirman , general ahmad yani , and road cilegon , and knowing characteristic movement of vehicles that passes through the three roads equipped with comparisons vehicles total volume on any in segments that analysis. Methods used to do research by analysis roads urban performance in accordance with contained in MKJI 1997 and by readmitted prevailing transportation , starting with data collection vehicle survey , data processing with the guidelines MKJI 1997 and the research on display with the charts. Of the above the results analysis performance segments in each segments subjects to have a good service thoroughly.But performance segments worst acquired at roads sudirman on working days having the value ds ( degree saturation ) as much as 0,84 with a service D.The movement of that occurs began in roads sudirman leading to the general ahmad yani until a way to the highway cilegon have a sort of the same move .Where roads sudirman always having volume highest for the movement of a vehicle that happened. For the movement of the type of vehicle there are several the results of which were found where to public transport types of motorcycles and cars passengers affected by a factor of comfort while for heavy vehicles affected by the needs of the delivery of goods and services.
