- NOVIANA NUR ROKHMAH. 2019. Development Strategy of Logending Fishing Port (FP) Kebumen Regency. Supervised by RIRIN IRNAWATI and MUTA ALI KHALIFA Logending Fishing Port was established in 2015. Logending FP class was upgraded to a Coastal Fishing Port (CFP) In 2017. Logending CFP is projected to be the center of the fishing industry in Kebumen Regency. Therefore, the right development strategy is needed. The purpose of this study is to identify the conditions and level of utilization of facilities and formulate Logending CFP development strategies. The method used in this research is a survey method with qualitative and quantiative descriptive analysis and SWOT. The results showed that in general the Logending CFP condition was quite good, there are several facilities that have met the capacity and not yet. Facilities that have not yet utilize capacity such as dock (5,81%), port pond (1,1%), breakwater (79,63%), demage (20,37%), land (50,25%), fish auction (5,71%) and parking area (60%). Facilities that have optimal utilization such as drainage, complex road, fishing house, fences, fish packing sites, clean water, mosques and fishermen’s meeting hall. The formulation of the right development strategy for Logending CFP is to improve facilities in quality and quantity, adding competent human resources in the fields of fisheries and portfolios, periodically dredging shipping lanes and port pools and making efforts to encourage the creation of the fishing industry.
