- Agricultural insurance is a risk pooling instrument, where each participant pays a small amount of premium and some of those who suffer losses receive compensation taken from the collected premium. AUTP provides guarantees for damage to insured plants caused by floods, droughts and pest attacks. The research method used in this study is a survey method, Purposive research locations in Kertasana Village, Pagelaran Subdistrict, Pandeglang Regency Variables of this study were to determine the attitude of farmers towards rice farming insurance programs in Kartasana Village using attitude indicators, goals, objectives, benefits, guaranteed risks, successes, compensation, compensation payments, period of coverage, amount of dependents, claim provisions, claim agreement, and organization of implementation of rice farming insurance programs with parameters based on the AUTP program guidelines, which are measured using scores. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the Respondents' Knowledge of the AUTP Program with a score of 4,36 included in the agreed because the target of rice farming insurance program can be conveyed to farmers, Attitudes of Farmers towards the AUTP Program with a score of 3.98 in the agree because benefits such as obtaining financial compensation as farming working capital, increasing farmers' accessibility to funding sources, and achieving a score of 3.92 in the agreed because farmers apply the objective of rice farming programs to transfer losses and provide protection to farmers if there is a failure harvest due to risk, drought and pest attacks.
