- DAENG HUDAYA PANCA SAKTI 2019. The Effect of Temperature on the Egg Hatching Rate of The Giant Gourami (Osphronemus gouramy). Supervised by MUSTAHAL and FORCEP INDARYANTO. Seedling of gouramy from hatching of good eggs is one of supporting factors for the successful maintenance of gouramy fish. One of the factors that influence spawning and growing is the environment, such as temperature. Therefore this research is necessary to do to find out the optimum temperature in incubation media and its effect on hatchability and hatching time of gouramy fish. The research held on December till January 2017 at Ciganjur Fish Hatching Center, DKI Jakarta, with four treatments and three replications, they were A Treatment with hatching egg incubation 27 ± 1 ° C, B Treatment in 30 ± 1 °C, C Treatment in 32 ± 1 ° C and D Treatment Hatching egg incubation in control temperature. The broodstock that used were 3 fish in a ratio of female: male are 1: 2. The best results from this study were obtained in treatment B, the incubation temperature of 30 ± 1 ° C with a Hatching Time of 27.22 hours, while the Hatching Rate was 86.95% and the Survival Rate was 80.86%. Based on the results of research on the hatching time of gouramy eggs with different incubation temperatures carried out for 16 days, it can be concluded based on the best treatment research namely treatment B namely incubation temperature of 30 ± 1 ° C with Hatching Time. 27.22 hours, while the Hatching Rate is 86.95% and the Survival Rate is 80.86%.
