This Research was aimed to know the effect of microbial concentration and variation in the planting system Jajar Legowo 2:1 on growth and yield of corn crops (Zea mays L.). This research was conducted from December 2018 until March 2019 at the experimental Land of Untirta Faculty of Agriculture in Kampung Cikuya Karang Kitri Village of Sindang Sari Pabuaran, Serang, Banten. This research used a Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with two factors. The first factor was a microbial concentration consisted of three levels, namely : 0 l/ha (P1), 6 l/ha (P2), and 9 l/ha (P3) and the second factor was variation spacing planting system Jajar Legowo 2:1 consisted of three levels 75 cm x 25 cm x 20 cm (P1), 75 cm x 25 cm x 25 cm (P2), and 75 cm x 25 cm x 30 cm (P3). The results showed that the treatment of 6 L/ha (P2) gave a better outcome to the parameters Plant height (97.86 cm), Weight of cob per plant (216.42 g), Length of cob per plant (12.31 cm), Weight dried seeds (90.67 g) and Number of seeds (343,73 seed) and at planting distance 75 cm x 25 cm x 30 cm (J3) on Legowo 2:1 planting system gave a better outcome to the parameters Weight of cob per plant (227.77 g), Number of leaves 6 MST (8.11), Number of seeds (346,06 seed), ), Dried seeds weight (93.98 g), Length of cob per plant (12.48 cm), Dried weight of plant canopy (100.33 g) and Dried weight of plant roots 17.55 g). There was no interaction between the combination of microbial concentration and variations in the planting distance of the Legowo planting system 2:1 to all parameters observed.
