Indigofera plants were used as forage crops and soil conservation. The aimed of 
this research was to know the effect of BAP and Kinetin on shoots multiplication 
of Indigofera (Indigofera zollingeriana Miq.). Treatments of shoots multiplication 
of Indigofera were using MS media with 2 factor of treatments, i.e., concentration 
of BAP (0, 1, 1.5, and 2 mg/L) and Kinetin (0, 1, 2, and 3 mg/L). Results showed 
that BAP at 1 mg/L, 1.5 mg/L, and 2 mg/L gave the best results for number of 
shoots at 4, 6, and 8 Week After Planting. Treatment without BAP was the lowest 
number of shoots. The effect of BAP has very significant on callus texture. 
Friable callus was achieved on treatment without BAP. BAP with concentration 
1.5 mg/L and 2 mg/L showed the most compact callus. Parameters observation of 
buds appear, lenght of shoots, number of leaves, and diameter of callus showed no 
significant effect. Whereas the Kinetin teatment showed no significant effect on 
all parameters and there was no interaction between BAP and Kinetin for shoots 
multiplication of Indigofera.
