- Azis Pungga Prayogo. 2019. Effect of Giving Some Botanical Pesticides and Varieties of Chili Plants (Capsicum annuum L.) to the Attack of whitefly Pests (Bemisia tabaci). Guided by Dewi Hastuti, and Putra Utama. The research was aimed to obtain three selected botanical pesticides and three varieties that are resistant to whitefly infestation (Bemisia tabaci). This research has been carried out at the Green house, Balai Pengawasan dan Sertifikasi Benih Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikurtura, Serang City, Banten, in June until August 2018. This research used a Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) which was replicated three times and consists of two factors. The first factor was the type of pesticide which consists of 3 levels, namely betel leaf, papaya leaf, and tuber of garlic. The second factor was the variety from the chili plant which consists of 3 levels, namely hot chilli, pillar, and hot beauty. The results showed that the giving of botanical pesticides (betel leaves, papaya leaves and tuber of garlic) did not the parameters of the intensity of pest attacks and the intensity of the indication of the virus. But there was a significant effect on the parameters of the population of imago. The used of chili plant varieties (hot chilli, pillar, and hot beauty) did not significantly influences on the parameters of the intensity of pest attacks and the intensity of the indication of the virus. But there was a significant influences on the parameters of the population of imago. There was no interaction between types of botanical pesticides with chili plant varieties.
