- VIO AULIA NURFITRI, 2018. The Effect of Giving Several Types of Amelioran and Dosage Level of SP-36 Fertilizer on Changes in Chemical Properties and Growth of Corn (Zea mays L.) on Acid Soils. Underguidance Sri Ritawati and Eltis Panca Ningsih This study aims to determine the effect of giving ameliorant type and SP-36 fertilizer dose on corn growth (Zea mays L). This research was conducted from April to June 2018 on BBITPH (Food Crops and Horticulture of the Mother Garden) of Banten Province. Soil chemical analysis was carried out in the Bogor Agriculture University laboratory. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors with 4 replications, the first factor was the treatment of ameliorant, control, dolomite, chicken manure, and coal ash, and the second factor was the SP-36 fertilizer dose of 50% and 100%. The results showed that the supply of chicken manure was able to improve soil chemical properties and increase the growth of corn plants. The results of soil pH analysis of all types of ameliorants gave good results, namely neutral, then the results of the analysis of the content of Al-dd from all types of ameliorants had an adverse effect, Al-dd in the soil based on very low analysis, then the results of P content analysis all types of ameliorants show low P values. The best results in the administration of chicken manure had an effect on 2-7 parameters of MST plants, the highest yield was 7 MST (146.87 cm), the highest number of leaf parameters was 7 MST (10.12 strands), the plant's weight (150,32 g) and the root weight is (77.62). The treatment of the SP-36 (Q1) 50% dose gave the best results on the parameters of plant weight at 7 MST (75.62 g) parameter root weight 7 MST (30.62 g) on the root dose parameters of SP-36 fertilizer yielding the best results 7 MST (46.54 cm). Keywords: Amelioran, Corn, SP-36 fertilizer.
