  • Naturalist intelligence is the intelligence associated with everything that exists in nature, such as flora, fauna, cloud formation, solar system, mountains, soil and water. The utilization of the surrounding environment is a way to develop the child’s naturalist intelligence, because this activities very fun and freeing children to interact derectly with their environment so that learning activities can take place actively. Naturalist intelligence of children aged 5-6 years in TK Aisyiyah Panyaungan, Lebak-Banten is still low, this is because there are children who have not been able to identify for calassify the types of plants and animals, then the method used was not interesting so that learning is not optimal. Then need for interesting learning activities such as by utilizing the surrounding environment. The method used ini this research is action research which includes two cycles, the fisrt cycle consists of 8 actions and the second cycle consists 2 action. Every cycles consists of four stages; (1) planning stage, (2) action stage, (3) observation stage, and (4) reflection stage. Subjects in this study were children aged 5-6 years in TK Aisyiyah Panyaungan, Lebak-banten with the number of 16 children consisting of 8 boys and 8 girls. Based on data obtained on pre-action the naturalist intelligence of children aged 5- 6 years is on a low scale with a percentage 27%. Based on analysis of research data and discussion, than obtained results that through the utilization of the surrounding environment the naturalist intelligence child aged 5-6 at first cycle to 53% and at seccond cycle to 77% it is meaning has exceeded the predetermined success score of 70%. Ability shown by the child was changed after given action. Children are more happy and enthusiastic in following the learning activities and active in every action. Than can be concluded that research declared successful.
