- Moni Desmajunar. NIM 2222110541. 2017. Code Mixing and Code Swichting in spoken language by Minangkabau people in Ciruas Sub-District, Serang, Banten Province. This research is motivated by mixed code and transfer of Minangkabau language code to Indonesia language in spoken speech of Minangkabau Minangkabau community in Ciruas Village, which occurs in the use of two languages either alternately or simultaneously. The purpose of this research is (1) to describe the code mixed form of words and phrases as well as the cause of the mix of Minangkabau language code in the spoken Indonesian language of Minangkabau origin in Ciruas Village, and (2) to describe the transfer of code in the form of clauses and sentences, Minangkabau language in spoken Indonesian speakers from Minangkabau origin in the village of Ciruas. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are recording techniques, refer to, and record. The source of this research data is in the form of recording of the speech of Minangkabau Minangkabau community in Ciruas Village, Ciruas Subdistrict, Serang Regency, Banten Province. The data of this research are Minangkabau Minangkabau community in Ciruas Village, Ciruas Subdistrict, Serang Regency, Banten Province containing mixed code and transfer of Minangkabau language code to Indonesian in the form of word, faras, clause and sentence. Based on the results of data analysis, the results obtained as follows: In the speech of Minangkabau nomads in the village of Ciruas there are speeches containing data mixed code as much as 10 pieces, which can be detailed as follows: data including word as many as 8 data and data including phrase as much as 2 pieces Data (2) data transfer code of 17 pieces, which can be detailed as follows: data including clause of 5 data and data including sentence of 12 data.
