- This study aims to analyze the effect of physical work environment and intrinsic motivation on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable on employees of PT. Dover Chemical. In this study, there are four variables, namely Physical Work Environment (X1), Intrinsic Motivation (X2), Employee Performance (Y), and Job Satisfaction (Z).The study involved 60 samples of employees of PT. Dover Chemical. To obtain accurate results in this study using interviews, observations, and questionnaires. This research uses descriptive method, data analysis, instrument test, multiple regression analysis, t test, intervening variable path analysis and sobel test with SPSS v22 calculation. The result of this research showed that : (1) physical work environment is positive and significant impact on the job satisfaction, (2) intrinsic motivation is positive and significant impact on the job satisfaction, (3) physical work environment is positive and significant impact on the Employee Performance, (4) intrinsic motivation is positive and significant impact on the Employee Performance, (5) job satisfaction is positive and significant impact on the Employee Performance.
