The existence of television advertising is very effective to catch attention. However, nowadays there’s only slightly from the domestic manufacturers that carry the message of nationalism. Kacang Garuda television advertising of batik edition package featuring Indonesian culture. The purpose of this research is to determine representation of nationalism in the advertisement. Meanwhile this research also uses a semiotic analysis of Peirce consist of Sign, Object, Interpretant. The method used is qualitativeconstructivist paradigm, with the unit of analysis selected by referring to the message of nationalism. As the result, Sign shown by the pride of batik as Indonesian culture, tolerance and unity between religions and ethnic, and not forgetting Indonesia as a homeland. Object in advertising including batik, agricultural products such as Indonesian peanuts, mother and father figure in the family, eastern Indonesia and chinese descent, as well as the logo of Garuda bird. While interpretant shown by selected scenes played by each casts, batik, peanut, red-white attributes, snake and ladders traditional game, and Garuda bird. The conclusion of this study that the representation of nationalism are shown in every scenes which shows love for Indonesia.
