- Winda Mustika. Exploration Relations Student Demographics for Problem Solving Ability after Learning Mathematics with Problem Based Learning Model. Thesis, Department of Mathematics Education, the Faculty of Education, University of Sultan Agung Tirtayasa, Serang, 2015 . Problem Based Learning is a learning model that uses real-world problems as a context for students to learn about critical thinking and problem solving skills, as well as to acquire knowledge and essential concept of learning materials. This study aims to determine what demographic factors were significantly related to students' mathematical problem solving ability. This study is a population study with 40 students of class VII C SMP Negeri 10 Cilegon. This research is a descriptive study. The research instrument is given in the form of mathematical problem solving ability test with the subject quadrilateral. Demographic factors are referred to in this study: gender, age, origin elementary school, place of residence, parental education, and occupation of parents. Based on the results of data processing by using the chi-square test, it can be concluded that there was no significant relationship between demographic factors of students with mathematical problem solving ability after learning problem-based learning model.
