H. Wawan Prahiawan. Research object in this paper on the effect of Preventive Discipline and Communication on Job performance at Department of Industry and Trade Banten. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Preventive Discipline and Communication on Job Performance. This study uses descriptive and verification. Design research is the design of exploratory, descriptive and causal. Sampling technique using saturated sampling where all members of the population sampled as many as 55 respondents. Methods of data analysis using Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regression analysis, t test and f test with SPSS software program for Windows 20. Based on the results of analysis show that the regression equation Y = 1,360 + 0,747 X 1 + 0,527 X 2 . Multiple correlation coefficient (R) = 0,817, which means that there is a strong and significant relationship between Preventive Discipline and Communication on Job Performance, while the coefficient of determination (Kd) = 66,7% indicates the magnitude of the effect of Preventive Discipline and Communication on Job Performance es while the remaining 33,3% influenced by other factors that are not included in this study. And of the results of the F test is known that F calculate vi (52,025) > F table (3,15), so H o is rejected and H a is accepted, that the Preventive Discipline and Communication variables have a significant effect on the job performance at Department of Industry and Trade Banten.
